What is the legal way to deal with nuisance wildlife?

// September 3rd, 2010 // 4 Comments » // Free Stuff

I’ve seen a number of questions where people have squirrels or bats in their attics, or deer eating their flowers, or geese polluting their lakes, or coyotes threatening their pets. The answers on this subject run the gamut. Some people say to just shoot it, to trap it and relocate it, to poison it, etc. And some people say you need permits to kill or trap/relocate wild animals that are damaging your property or threatening your safety. What’s the legal way to deal with nuisance wildlife?

What is the best way to deal bad mannered people when they are talking in their cellphones? Or with loud people and such kind of annoyances? What do you do when you are talking to them in person, their cellphone rings and suddenly they let you down without excusing themselves?
Any tips? Ideas? Suggestions?

How should a 5 year old deal with being picked on by neighborhood kids?

// September 3rd, 2010 // 2 Comments » // Free Stuff

My daughter plays with an 8 year old who constantly picks on her. This girl’s 10 year old brother also picks on my daughter. The 8 year old turns the younger neighborhood kids against my daughter if she refuses to play with her. I tried talking to the parents, but they won’t listen to me. I either keep my daughter in the house or watch her play outside alone. The other kids won’t play with her unless the 8 year old girl says they can. What can I do to help my daughter deal with this kind of behavior?

What is a creative way to deal with mormons?

// September 3rd, 2010 // 19 Comments » // Free Stuff

I looked this up on yahoo for a nice article, and to my surprise found nothing. There are a lot of religious freaks at my school, however the Mormons are particularly annoying because they actually follow you around trying to talk to you and discuss Mormonism. The last time they tried this with me, I just completely ignored the guy, pretending I was deaf. This just wasn’t satisfying however, and I am looking for more creative ways to deal with the Mormons at my school and have some fun. Thank you!

What can get me a better deal when purchasing a used vehicle?

// September 2nd, 2010 // 2 Comments » // Free Stuff

I live in Michigan and am looking to purchase an 07 F-150 FX4 from a dealer. They are asking 17500 for it. I have the money in the bank to pay for it with cash, however someone told me that I may be able to get a better deal by financing and then just paying it completely off once the first payment comes due. As far as negotiating with the dealer to get a better price, which one is better, cash or financing?

Thanks.

What is the best way to deal with someone who thinks that constant sarcasm makes them clever and funny?

I work with a couple of people who engage in constant, and I mean CONSTANT, sarcasm.

Literally every time they speak, you can sense the patronizing, passive-aggressive tone in their voice. Unfortunately, they are of the belief that they are really hip and cool and fun to be around.

When I ask them to tone it down and try to be a little more respectful, they claim that they are “just having fun”.
